Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right session? Mini Sessions are best for quick updates or milestones. Standard Sessions are ideal for most families and offer the best balance of time and variety. Full Sessions are perfect for larger families, lifestyle sessions, or anyone who wants all images included without choosing.
What if my kids need time to warm up or take breaks? That’s completely normal. Sessions are relaxed and child-led. Longer sessions allow more flexibility for breaks, movement, and natural moments.
How many people can be included? Immediate family members are always welcome. For extended family or multi-generation sessions, the Full Session is recommended.
Can I purchase more images after I receive my gallery? Yes. You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can select your included images and purchase additional photos or a full gallery upgrade.
When will we receive our images? Galleries are delivered within 15 business days (does not include weekends or holiday)
Where do sessions take place? Sessions are held at an outdoor location in South Carolina chosen by the photographer, or at a location discussed during booking. Lifestyle or in-home sessions are available with Full Sessions.
What if we need to reschedule? Life happens. Rescheduling is allowed with advance notice and is subject to availability.
Session Policies
Retainer & Payment
A 25% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to reserve your session date and time. The retainer is applied toward the total cost of your session, with the remaining balance due on or before your session date. Session dates are not held without a paid retainer.
No-show sessions will result in forfeiture of the retainer. Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a no-show.
Weather Policy
Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent and monitored closely leading up to your session. If rain, extreme temperatures, or unsafe conditions are forecasted, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Weather decisions are made by the photographer with your family’s comfort and safety in mind. Overcast skies are often ideal for photos and do not require rescheduling.
If weather becomes an issue during the session, adjustments will be made when possible or the remaining portion of the session will be rescheduled.
Sick Kids Policy
If a child or parent is ill with a fever, stomach bug, contagious illness, or is clearly not feeling well, please reach out as soon as possible. Sessions may be rescheduled once at no additional charge due to illness with advance notice.
There is no pressure to proceed with a session when children are unwell — happy, healthy kids always photograph better.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Session time begins at the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals will result in reduced session time to avoid impacting other scheduled clients. The full session fee will still apply. If you anticipate being late, please communicate as soon as possible.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show and will result in forfeiture of the retainer.
Military Discount Policy
I am proud to offer a military discount as a thank-you to those who serve.
- A 10% discount is available for active duty, reserve, veteran, and retired military members
- Immediate family members are eligible for the discount as well
- Discount applies to session fees only
- Must be requested at the time of booking
- Valid military ID or proof of service is required
Extras
All sessions include a set number of professionally edited digital images. Additional images and full gallery upgrades are available after viewing your proof gallery, allowing you to select exactly what you love.

After your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to:
Purchase Additional Images - $20 per additional image
Upgrade to the Full Gallery - $125 to receive 15 additional edited images from your session

Your Standard Session includes 10 professionally edited digital images.
After your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to:
